I gotta admit, after trying to put it on my dad's shoe, unless you REEEALLY hate tying your shoes, the setup for this and other unique lacing products has been disappointing.  First off, you're committed to doing it when you take the regular laces out of your shoe, because those are annoying to put in.  Then you have to get it all assembled correctly, which feels like a major accomplishment, until you realize that the tension you need is way off and you have to take it all apart and adjust it until it's right.  If you want to use this product correctly and you've never tried it before, be sure to put aside about a half hour to an hour and a day's worth of patience.
