Filmed on 11/13/07 - The Running Event - Austin, TX - Dan from AQX talks about the Aquatic Training Shoe. Using shoes in aqua jogging helps runners adapt from pool to land according to research. Shoes increase heart rate by about 8 bmp as opposed to without. Originally designed for deep water, the shoe can be used for running along the floor surface as well.

From AQxSports.com

Aquatic Training ShoeDesigned with strategically-placed hydrodynamic fins on each side, the shoes add 20-30% more resistance to any aquatic exercise. They also have a 100% sticky rubber outsole that prevents slipping on any pool surface. The ATS features a cushioned insole for greater comfort, arch support for stability, and drainage ports for quick drying. Constructed with premium quality neoprene, leather, and mesh to increase longevity of the shoe, they also have a bungee lace-up system for a snug, secure fit.

The ATS is designed for:
· Deep water running to simulate running on land without the impact on your joints
· Shallow water drills and plyometrics to build speed, agility, and quickness
· Rehabilitation and therapy exercises
· Aquatic fitness
· Overall core strengthening

The ATS fits true to size. Half-sizes round down, unless you have an extra-wide foot, in which case you should round up.

**Comes with a free mesh carrying bag**

These are great shoes. I use them at least once a week in the pool. I get a much better workout than just doing "high knees" for an hour. It gets all of my leg muscles into it.
